The main international airport in Tunisia is Tunis-Carthage Airport (airport code TUN) located four kilometers from the capital city of Tunis, Tunisia. The airport is named after the historical center of Carthage that sits just north of the airport. Tunis Carthage airport hosts more than 5 million passengers annually.

The airport consists of one Main Terminal with over 30 airlines providing service to destinations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Buses and taxis provide transport to and from the airport. TUNISAIR is the main national company with a network covering more than 22 European and 12 Arab and African cities
